About the Opportunity
We’re looking for volunteers who care about helping people stay supported beyond the classroom or program space. This role helps connect participants to helpful community resources—like transportation, housing support, healthcare, or benefits—so they can continue making progress in their lives.
If you’re compassionate, organized, and enjoy helping people navigate support systems, this is a meaningful way to contribute.
How You Can Help:
Help gather and organize information about local community resources
Share resource information with participants when requested
Assist with connecting participants to partner organizations
Help check in with participants after programs to see if supports were helpful
Keep simple notes so staff know which resources are being used
You’ll always have guidance from staff and won’t be expected to provide case management or counseling.
This opportunity is great for volunteers who:
Are empathetic and good listeners
Enjoy organizing information or helping people problem-solve
Have interest or experience in social services, nonprofit work, or community support
Care about long-term outcomes, not just one-day events
No formal background is required.
Time Commitment
Flexible and based on your availability
Can be short-term or ongoing
Some tasks may be done remotely
Why It Matters
Access to the right support at the right time can make all the difference. Your help reduces barriers, supports stability, and helps participants stay engaged and successful.
