Who We Are

Wild Thistle Collaborative, Inc aims to cultivate inclusive, regenerative community spaces that provide food security, opportunities for meaningful work, transformative learning, and a sense of shared stewardship. Starting with revitalizing lots in neighborhoods for food production based community gardens, our long term goal is to acquire land and build an ADA accessible Care Farm to serve our community in close collaboration with other nonprofit partners; avoiding duplication of services and highlighting strength in mutual responsibility.

What We Do

Wild Thistle Collaborative, Inc builds and maintains local, fully ADA accessible community gardens with the intention of growing produce to be donated to area pantries in an effort to combat food insecurity in the CSRA. We also have a flower garden dedicated to Military & Veteran individuals and families, with all blooms harvested to be arranged and donated to local military-associated funerals/memorial services or military-associated palliative care patients.

Mission

To cultivate inclusive, regenerative community spaces that provide food security, opportunities for meaningful work, transformative learning, and a sense of shared stewardship.

Vision

We imagine a future where care farms and community commons reclaim unused spaces, transforming them into places of equity, healing, and opportunity—where people of every age, ability, and lived experience are nourished in body, mind, and spirit. Guided by this commitment, Wild Thistle Collaborative envisions a world where regenerative farming restores the earth, shared work restores dignity, and connection restores wholeness.
